Making an Appointment

To make an appointment for your initial examination or dental treatment, call Pacific Coast Dentistry at (805) 226-8126 and one of our team members will be happy to assist you. If you have a scheduled appointment and cannot make it, please call us to cancel at least 24 hours prior so that we can accommodate other patient requests.

What to Expect

When you come into our office at Pacific Coast Dentistry, you will quickly be greeted by our friendly team members. They will provide you with new patient paperwork, which includes a health questionnaire, an insurance information form, and a contact information form. We will also provide additional information to allow you to become more familiar with our office and explain how we handle things like patient privacy.

Initial Examination

You can expect your initial dental examination to take around one hour. One of our experienced team members will ask you questions about your dental health, smile goals, and oral hygiene routine, and answer any questions you may have. Our dental hygienist will clean your teeth thoroughly and Dr. Keyla Springe will then complete your examination and make recommendations for proposed dental treatments.

Because we are committed to educating patients on maintaining oral health and hygiene, we will also demonstrate how to properly care for your teeth and make additional suggestions as needed.

Pain Concerns

One of our main goals at Pacific Coast Dentistry is to ensure our patients are comfortable, and this includes minimizing any discomfort or pain. Before we begin your treatment, Dr. Keyla Springe will discuss your pain tolerance with you and design a pain management plan. Together, we will find a solution to address your dental health problems in a way that minimizes discomfort and allows you to get back to your life faster.
